After catching up on some much needed post-tour sleep I went for a walk down by our beautiful local river today. I briefly shared the footpath with a deer which took one look at me and bounced off into the fields.
I took my music player and headphones with me and reviewed progress with the new Big Big Train album while I walked. Rob Aubrey, our sound engineer, has bounced a very rough work-in-progress WAV from our sessions at Sweetwater Studios so I was able to listen to the whole album as it currently stands. I’ll share some updates as we finish work over the summer months.

My birthday is coming up soon and I know that Playing The Fool will be unpacked by me, I'm excited, especially about the announced surround sound and the newly created visuals.
